This is the plant that my daughter and my wife got as a division from the main plant years ago! They just took a large Bonsai dish to plant the youngster then. Today, whereas the mother plant is in no good shape, this one is growing out of its pot, and has 20 + spikes coming to bloom; rather spectacular!

I would like to wish to all of you a merry Christmas time, and a successful and healthy year 2016 !!!!

WOW! Very well done, Jean - growing as well as photographing!

Wonderful Lud! The secret to keeping The Sprawl under
control is constant pinching back. The parts pinched off
will root readily in good potting soil or in water for that
matter.

Wow! How do you keep it so compact? Mine sprawls all over,

It is grown on a west-facing windowsill: = no fertilizer as those plants in my gh :), and watered only from time to time, when I don't forget! And it is climbing out of his pot now! I break away those new growths then! The media is a mix of a bit bark and much sand as used for 'cacti ?' growing ! Jean

Great shots and nice display!
I would like to try this again.
I bought it so many times as a kid. I had no idea it was an orchid back then.
