    As far as I know kovachii never like their roots to dry out. Many of their hybrids are the same. All of mine sit in a shallow pan of water. George

    I have this same thing. But, never water from above, always water the medium.

    I have tried that and they still tend to grow above the medium because you can't bury the crown????
