    Welcome and good luck with the Jensoas! I successfully grow quiebiense, sinense, ensifolium and cyperfolium and continue to fail with goeringii and kanran despite using Jack Zhu’s custom mix. Sigh.

    Curious. I always hear “sweetens the mix” and sort of take it for granted. I add charcoal to all my mixes. I have seen people grow Vanda in pure charcoal chunks; not sure how that works but it seems to.

    What an absolute achievement, Eric! I have now straggled through a year with flaskings of D. uniflora from Wally Orchard and know you have worked hard to get here.

The leaves just don’t look quite right; the ones I have killed had much more compact growth and the flowers, never this delenstii-ish form. I would like Leslie or someone vastly more...
