    neo. shutennou

I purchased this one was from Robert Bedard around June 2015. I don't think he's been here in a quite while. This neo has almost doubled in size since 2015 and is my largest neo. Not the best blooming this year but the blooms are large and more spikes are on the way. The dime in the last photo...

Myxodex - no optical illusion. HP pointed this out in another post as well both of you have keen eyes. The older leaves on the bottom are yellow. The newer leaves that emerge are creamy white. It would seem that as the leaves get older they turn yellow. I'd prefer that they stay white. But the...

Neo from Tom-DE. Easily one of my largest neos. There's also a second spike forming. However, this first spike might be faded by the time that one opens. I believe Tom sourced this neo from Seed Engei during the 2008 WOC in Miami. Thanks Tom for the wonderful neo... Cheers kishuryokufu...

More often than not, mature multi growth neos that I acquire bloom 2-3 months after acquisition. The blooming is quite light with one to two flowers at most. This happened to my nishi, higashi, shunkyuden, shutennou. I think the off-season bloom on these neos are largely due to culture shock...

What do you think of Orchids Limited?

I had placed an order with OL for two neos several years ago. When I received the package, one neo was slightly smaller in both stature and number of growths as compared to my original order. The other neo on the other hand, was where the compensated. The other neo was significantly larger than...

First time bloomer. The unusual blooms are fantastic. This variety seems to have the typical neo fragrance. unkai (雲海) - 02 - 04.02.17 by Marco, on Flickr unkai (雲海) - 01 - 04.08.17 by Marco, on Flickr unkai (雲海) - 01 - 04.10.17 by Marco, on Flickr

Naoki - The flower did not develop past photo #3 in post #1. The other flowers that developed were very similar to last year's blooming (like those in the last photo of post #6). I think that lone flower on that spike was simply a one off? I've always wanted to do a time l lapse photo/vid. I...
