these are not the best photos, but here are pics of Epidendrum parkinsonianum for the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in 2015. I have a Trichocentrum stacyii and can see the difference between the growth habit.

Looking good! That's a lovely collective. In addition to skewers, I use the floral wire stems to make my hooked stakes. Also, You can dress up your stakes with floral tape to make them really discreet.
