    Phragmipedium Hai An N Le

This cross is Carmine x Cardinale, and I purchased in flask from Chuck Acker in August 2019. These performed extremely well for me, and a few forum members have them. This one bloomed on a bottom shelve in the hot summer grow room. Somehow I missed taking it outside. Needless to say, seeing it...

    New Phrag kovachii hybrids.

Or whenever you run out of space. I would happily find room... somewhere.

    Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum

I am constantly threatening to get rid of this plant. Typically, I find the flower boring. However I cannot argue with the easy of flowering it, and its longevity. I miss that it was spiking, so I need to get on that before the next flowers start forming.

    Paphiopedilum barbigerum var aureum

Nice idea. I might just make that happen!

    Paphiopedilum barbigerum var aureum

Neither of these are my awarded clone. However they are siblings. First: Second: It might need more time to open a bit but I might forget to post later. The lip has an odd texture this time. I wonder what caused it.🤔 In prior flowerings it has been smooth. Whatever it is is...

    Paphiopedilum Norito Hasegawa

Another clone is blooming. This one is larger and is more of a golden tone.

Paphiopedilum Yang Ji Apple x lady Isabel

    I love the color!

    Columnea minor

    Wow! That is unreal.

    Separate or leave be?

Wow, 60! I would not be surprised if the tiny ones do well for you. They are small but not the smallest I have seen. How are the roots on the little ones?

    2024 Phalaenopsis

Thank you, and yes, it is still fragrant.

    2024 Phalaenopsis

Another Phalaenopsis Meir's Prince bloomed, and it is completely different from the first.

    Paphiopedilum charlesworthii forma sandowiae

Here an updated picture of the first sib. The timing is not going to work out to see all four flowers bloom together.

    Paphiopedilum charlesworthii forma sandowiae

Another clone from the same sib cross is blooming.

    Separate or leave be?

Those look great! What did you decide? If it were mine, I would create two new compots. One with the larger seedlings and one with the smaller seedlings. They are clearly thriving. Giving the larger ones more room would allow better air movement around the seedlings. Giving the smaller ones...

For Sale Paphiopedilum thaianum @ Krull & Smith

For anyone interested in Paphiopedilum thaianum, Krull & Smith has flask available for $75. Krull and Smith Paphiopedilum I must say I have found thaianum a bit challenging from flask. Still I am giving these a try. The seedlings look larger than my last flask.

Newly Arrived Habenaria Medusa!! Care Tips?

Providing no water works only works if the humidity is high around the pot. Otherwise the tubers might desiccate. I am speaking from experience. Folks who provide no water are likely greenhouse growers with higher winter humidity. Follow the guidance of people who grow like you and have a...

Unfortunate Ebay oops... no hope, right?

I want to double what @gonewild said, especially the comment on the roots. I have deflasked 25+ phrag species and crosses. Those roots are the roots from the flask. So it appears that this plant was removed from flask and sold before new roots that are more suitable for thrive outside of the...

    Mt.Toro (Swindled again!)

I do appreciate a nice Mt. Toro but understand the high level of frustration you must feel expecting something completely different.

Wanted Paph. charlesworthii and Paph. fairrieanum

Tim is an excellent breeder, and he does retail sales also. His lists often tell you the source of the plants which is a really nice add. At least the last list I saw had that detail. Here is his instagram page with samples of his work: https://www.instagram.com/twculber/?hl=en Tim definitely...
