Ha. Forgot about all the extras in this thread. This forum got me through some tough times.

Much bigger since my last post. Two leads one in sheath the other with a spike and 3 blooms. This flower looks good no matter the conditions it seems.

She’s done well this last year with two string new growths and one spike with two blooms.

A much stronger set of flowers this year. Still don’t seem to last as long as other vandas as they are already starting to fade. Good thing for her I’m fond of her colors.

Thanks for this detail. Where does one source Peruvian moss? The sphagnum moss I use is local from Maryland. Would be interested to see if the phrags respond differently to the Peruvian moss. Would be happy to send some of mine your way if you have any available for barter!

I agree. I forgot I also use Safari in my rotation.

granules in combination with an insect growth cycle inhibitor works well for me. I use azamax to cover scale, thrips and spider mites in combination with the granules. With azamax and mites it’s almost a weekly treatment for a bit. .

Are they continuing to settle in without issues? I was trying to figure out what you are using for media, looks like straight live sphagnum and a bit of oyster shell dressing?

Well done. They look happy and the moss seems to be well established now too. Time to pot this one (clone 12) up!? Do you have access to bigger baskets? Will be interesting to see which one you choose to grow up. I’ve been potting up important phrags to larger baskets with the same media and...

To jump on your last comment, it would be interesting to see if you could completely prop up the tray at a 90 degree angle, basically strap down the media and hang the tray sideways. Let it grow up a wall... 🤔 this might be in my future.

I might need to pick one of these up next time Bill has them available.

Have you tried lowering light and temps? Sometimes just backing them off from the light and making certain the grow room is staying a bit cooler seems to help with yellowing in my collection.
