    Phrag. kovachii ‘Grande’ x self

She is blooming again. We are about 14.5 cm across, so a little larger than last bloom. Hopefully I can get her to put on a few more growths this next season. Might need a larger pot, I have yet to move a kovachii up past a 1 gallon net pot. Does anyone have recommendations on how to conjure up...

    Wanted ⁹Blue vanda

I would drop an email to Motes or R F orchids and be very specific about what background you are looking for… Start your search there and see what they recommend, could be some choice seedlings available if you don’t mind waiting a few years.

Fantastic red color. Are the buds splashed white on the back side of the sepals and petals too? I gave up on mine, I should try again but need a cooler space. How did you deal with watering it during this cooler period. I’m always so scared to add water below 60. Especially with orchids that...

Taking the plunge with a top rothschildianum

@Roth @monocotman can you please point me to these papers, is there a link to another thread or website? Curious to learn more about Urea based fert and if this is limited to only paphs. I rotate in Maxsea 16-16-16 in the summer. This fert contains urea as its mentioned on the label, also...

Rlc. Ranger Six ‘A-Ok’ (orig. Waldor) very different blooms over a year of 3 bloom times.

Hmm.. I’m going to have to hunt for the picture. I’m not sure I posted it when it last bloomed. I recently repotted it, hoping to see a bloom this year.

    Red Phrags

I tried coordinating with Tom a few month ago and he mentioned all were gone from the nursery where he was keeping his plants. The only one left at the time was his awarded clone. It was priced at close to $500.. but I have not heard back from him for a bit. Hope he is doing OK. I he mentioned...
