    Fuzzy the Vietnamense

So it was passed at judging today. They like the color but seems like it wasn’t good form enough. Next time! Meanwhile Fuzzy plays among the flowers.

Cattleya mossiae pentaflamea ‘Cerro Verde’ AM/AOS

It made an AM/AOS of 81 points from today’s Toronto judging… and just barely too!! The flowers just started to show ageing today after keeping well for 4 weeks. The other two flowers collapsed 3 days ago, so had to work only with the two. Luckily it held on in cooler nights.

    Fuzzy the Vietnamense

Slightly more open. A slight dimple on the pouch though 😔. But at least a pure vietnamense from Piping Rock breeding.

    Redlands 2024 Treasure Finds

Yes! It’s a new red form (normally a green dorsal sepal). Some transport and heat stress but has potential!

I got from KrullSmith (the regular hangianum and emersonii), InCharm (leucochilum, red species yet to guess) and the Springwater (red hangianum).
