    My love for Phragmipedia

It is now exactly one year since I received my first Phragmipedia from Ecuagenera. The day I got them I felt like a boy discovering the beauty of girls for the first time. One of them was particularly beautiful. It was a Phragmipedium humboldtii, which was delivered to me already with buds and a...

    Phragmipedium richteri?

Bought this plant as Phragmipedium richterei. Now it blooms and I have doubts. There's something else in here, that's not purely judgemental, what do you think?

    Phragmipedium `Rio Mira´

Half a year ago I ordered two Phragmipedium `Rio Mira´ (longifolium x hirtzii) from Ecuagenera and got these two. At first I still believed in the spread within these hybrids. I have two completely different plants in front of me and rather believe that the one on the left is a phrag. `Green...

    Questions about the rotschildianaum

Last year my dealer offered vigorous and flowering rothschildianum. When they had faded and he hadn't sold them all, he gave me one. Now, however, I have doubts as to whether it really is a rothschildianum. She grows incredibly fast and meanwhile the leaves are getting wider and the whole plant...

Wild collected Phrag Kovachii for sale is still the norm in Peru

A very interesting topic, especially what Frank writes about it. It shows that it is exactly the wrong way that many governments are taking, especially in Europe, and abolish prosperity in order to get more climate and nature protection. The opposite will happen. Without prosperity there is no...

Phrag. x roethianum? Phrag. Rio Mira?

Hello @Ernesto, I will hopefully be able to tell you soon whether Rio Mira really spreads a honey-like scent. She wants to make her first flower.

    Phragmipedium besseae

No, I put besseae cuttings straight into the substrate and put the whole pot with the plant in a plastic bag. It's like a mini greenhouse. After about 8 weeks the plant has enough roots.
