    ‘Tis The Season!!

I don't see DB from Blue Origins, but amazon does have Luna Sundara that purported to be 100% DB. There's lots of DB incense! Can't imagine why or how it smells, so scroll past all that stuff.

    ‘Tis The Season!!

Forgive my prejudice Jens. See if you can find some Dragon's Blood to keep on hand for such accidents. Amazon used to offer DB from Blue Origins if I recall correctly. This particular DB isn't as good as the stuff Eric used to have access to, but it's better than nothing.

    Florida Cold Spell

Be sorta thankful Mike. The temps. in KY have been 0F-4F for several days. Very unusual for SEKY. My greenhouse heaters are struggling to maintain 60F. Phrags. don't mind, but mounted Phals. ain't happy.

    Need input on a phrag

I grow some Phrags. in water and some not. Depends on the genetic background of the plant. I have a Phrag. (I don't recall the name at the moment) that new leaves emerge white and then gradually change to green as they grow. I dunno why.

    Wanted Phrag. Rouge Bouillon

Thank you, dear friends. All of you are invaluable resources. Hien, it's definitely (MDM 'Rocket Flash' 4N) x dalessandroi). I found the correct designation of the Rouge in an old greenhouse inventory list. Local temps. overnight last night was 0F. Right now it's 4F. Big improvement, eh...

    Wanted Phrag. Rouge Bouillon

No I don't know Chuck's number. The tag is so old I can't read the details or even where I got it. Possibly Marilyn at WH...damned if I can remember. I've had it many years and it was flourishing until I had a power outage followed by a heat wave. KAAAABOOOOOM!

Anticipation...Chiu Hua Dancer 'Wacky Worm' AM/AOS x St Swithin 'Cracked Pepper'

Now, now don't be like that. Give the plant a chance to improve. After all its been through, it's not a bad looking flower.

    hello from South Carolina

Welcome to ST from KY. What orchids are you growing now? I'm primarily a Phrag. grower and like to drag growers into that orchid category whenever I can...even if it's kicking and screaming!

A mislabeled and mysterious coerulea mess

All of us have had this situation at one time or another. I've had my problems with Phrag crosses and throwing away is hard for me. I keep hoping...you know the drill. My only consolation is adding to the compost and perhaps adding essential soil ingredients in my landscape.

    New roots drying out

Tyrone, you might try a small two gallon Vicks vaporizer in the growing area. The Vicks is cheap and will keep the air moist without piling on the sphag. The higher humidity will be better for you too.
