Just as an aside, is anyone here old enough to remember E.
Power Biggs concert in St. Patrick's Cathedral on that
magnificent organ??? Mostly Bach and mostly Baroque.
ASTOUNDING!
YAAAAY tomp!!!! Correction: my division is three back
bulbs and two in active growth.
Thank you Happy for the advice and encouragement.
I feel all aflutter with excitement.
Arne, gorgeous blooming. The color is superb. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the photos tomp. Must have been a
mighty effort and I appreciate it.
The division from SVO is quite large with five old growths and
two new ones coming along. I was planning on a much bigger
mount. I may have to...
SB I forgot to ask if this beauty is fragrant. The more I look at
the photos, the more I really like the plant. Forget what I wrote
about the dorsals. They ARE cute!
Nothing's perfect. I think it's a gorgeous flower warts and all.
Is it fragrant? Oh, who the hell cares?! it's a lovely white
flower. Very nice dorsal too.
Thank you Big923 and friend tomp. I use fishing line for mounting on very rough cork. I have very large windows
on the east and south am considering growing the walker
in the house...maybe. My greenhouse perhaps has too
much humidity and the temps. are routinely 55F-70F
right now. I can...
Annica, my relatives are freezing, but quite happy. They hoped
to see the northern lights, but no show so far. Overcast weather
I suppose. The next stop is Iceland; perhaps northern lights
there...maybe.
That was a very fine welcome and howdy Brucher! Two of my
relatives are enjoying Finland as we speak...er...write. I adore
Marty Python and hardly ever see any of their skits anymore.
I have the above ordered from SVO and I plan to mount it on cork bark.
Should I mount "naked" or use something like coco fiber and just
spray it lightly once or twice a week. I know the general growing
conditions and my gh is very humid 80%-90% most of the time. I killed
a walker a long time...
Odd, isn't it, how different people look at the same flower and see a different color. I see a pale lavender and Ozpaph sees
pink...perhaps it's both. The flower has a wonderful upright dorsal. I hope it's fragrant.
