    Spring Blooms

My Greta Twee is blooming now and is putting out a second spike. The first bloom after the heat wave was a tad wonky, but smells wonderful. Now that the greenhouse is rather cool, the second spike is growing very well and I hope for another fragrant bloom.

Rlc. Nacouchee (C. Headon x C. Estelle) (syn Blc.)

This is my idea of an excellent floofy Catt. With an excellent dorsal, of course. It's just elegant!

    Humidity Trays

mSummers, may I suggest an alternative? Buy a relatively cheap Vicks 2 gal. humidifier that will benefit your plants and your house hold as well. When I was windowsill growing, I kept the humidifier sitting on the floor directly underneath the plants and it raised the humidity to approximately...

    Owl

Wonderful! I'm amazed that the owl let you take the photo. Normally, I see barn, hoot and saw whet owls this time of year. I've not seen any of them so far this winter. When you have a spare moment, would you mind revealing where you found an owl house...or made possibly?

    L. anceps educational/novelty mount

White flowers make me swoon! That's such a novel idea. I have a lot of mounted Phals. You've given me something to consider if I ever manage to get a walkeriana 'Pendentive'.

Some of What I Have Flowering Right Now - New photo 1/06/2023

That Phrag. is wonderful. The firecracker red is eye catching and so many flowers open at one time. Good on you! May I inquire where you found the 'Pendentive'? I've been looking for a two growth division to mount for about a year.

    L. anceps hf. roeblingiana

Tomp, I laugh about my dorsal obsession too. Mostly I'm just teasing. If I got really hung up on dorsals, I surely wouldn't be growing Phrags.! Actually, I really like the color combo and it isn't over-floofy.

    Bessae

    ‘Tis The Season!!

If the DB is reasonably priced, it's probably not the real deal.
