Congratulations! I would love to see a shot of the whole plant, as I have a large seedling clone of 'Cashen's' myself. Mine is a very strong grower, and I'm hoping for flowers next winter.

Cross is Rl. (digbyana × glauca). Had one of these and sold it. Regretted it and got a division back. Tough and easy to grow, huge flower (NS 14.5 cm), strong citrus fragrance after dark. Really like the color as well. When this is big enough to put out several flowers it'll be really...

I like this thread! I was thrilled to get HCCs on two of my Cattleya rexes, just to get them in the registry books was great. I do feel like they are just handing out FCCs recently. Look at the past few months. Do any of these look first-class to you?

Big, colorful, unusual flowers. Super fragrant. Predictable growing, blooming, and dormancy periods. Grows like a weed with strong light and heavy fertilizer. Needs no attention at all for 4 months of the year. They just tick all the boxes!

Whatever they were, I squirted a stream of weak alcohol solution on them in the sink to try to knock them off, and maybe dry out the ones that held on.

These caught my attention when I first saw them as well. Really nice little hybrid. Boo thrips! I found clusters of tiny red dots moving around on one of my Clowesia spikes today...maybe spider mites.
