    Another cross that I purchased a flask of from Chuck Acker, Phrag Fall River x kovachi. This one bloomed in 2 years I was quite surprised. I think that as it matures and puts on some size the blooms will improve!

    I tend to disagree! I think the lighter color of the dorsal gives the flower another demension of color. It also adds contrast and keeps the eye moving.     Gorgeous kovachii! I use only pure rainwater collected from my roof into 1500 gal. cysterns. I adjust my kovachiis and their hybrids to ph 7.8 and there other phrags and most paph to 6.6ph

    Not a novice. I havebeen growing orchids over 20 years. But, I am thinking about trying something new with my Phrags. I would like to starting to add Grodon to my media mix. I once read on here that Grodon need a prep soaking before using? Any suggestions? George
