    Growth Habit

Tokyo orchid nursery grows its besseae in a tray this way... inclined and leaning back to keep the rhizome in the media... when i am managing in a tray, i put a wire onto the rhizome and pull it back down into the media and let the new growth get itself back to vertical (if it wants to ;-)...

    Phalaenopsis violacea

i purchased one of this color form from 'Wilson' .. his photo showed a very slight pink blush to the 'isthmus' on the lip rather than in the petals... it was a very nuanced pink... haven't yet flowered it (and i do believe it was a meristem or stem prop)... either way yours seems nice...

    Paphiopedilum NOT rothschilianum Dark Red

Looks to have a stonei influence in that dorsal. But the pouch gets towards yellow enough to be pleasing to my eyes…. I’d call it serendipitous…. :-)

    Some schillerianas

Thanx Leslie. They seem to have found the place in the greenhouse they like to grow. I’m going to try some additional ‘media’ on the mount to see if I can get a little fullness in the pseudobulbs. Although they get water almost daily. It’s clear they need some more.

@DrLeslieEe meant to ask if you recognized the tag or breeder. I thought I recognized the folks in the booth as AWZ , but as I started talking to them realized I was having another senior moment. This was 2019, if that means anything.

thought I’d get a take on this one as well. Purchased as a seedling from a South American vendor @ Redlands 2019. It’s a concolor on a striata. Very pleased with 4 flowers, 2 with nice upright dorsals…. And that from a first bloom mounted plant in a northeastern us greenhouse…. Anyhoo...
