    just to add to the above, Tamiami is a redlands clone Frank Smith hosts the International paph and vanda symposium in the fall and the International Phalaenopsis Alliance is (apparently) combining their yearly event into that same weekend at Franks in Apopka...

    Not a plant physiologist and I don’t even play one on TV.. but I can say that in my collection, not only do these symptoms not spread to other plants, the symptoms don’t spread on the same plant once the plant is given the water it needs.

    in my experience, and knowing these are phrags (with a couple hundred of them growing in my greenhouse)... they weren't getting enough water at some point in their life cycle. could be because the roots aren't in good shape, or just because they weren't watered as frequently as they desired...

    The last grex of Dolgoldii from Sam was really nice. he was selling the NBS seedlings for 90$ before the fire sales started... both of the examples i got from him bloomed the following year...

    Love this flower. Even more so…. Misery loves company on the ‘cultural bumps in the road’ comment… So many times I’m blooming out a grex that I’ve had from flask or initial offering. Well after others have had 3 flowerings in their plants. All because of those bumps…. :-). Hi...

    Agreed. And yours is a nice example.. particularly fond of the lighter pouch against a nice red petal color like yours. Maybe we should start… ‘Yea lindleyanum hybrids’. :-)

    +1 most definitely i would also add that based on your photo, it appears that the infection has progressed into the rhyzome. see that the edge of the leaf shows the infection... you need to treat the base of the base of the plant.

    (Memoria **** Clements x klotzschianum) from Bill Goldner (#5531) Wish the dorsal was a bit more upright. But keeping this one til the plant shows some heft. Nice color though.
