He was/is a firm believer in watering well and getting the greenhouse dry. The air movement was a dimension of that system.

I’ve had good luck with the Atlanta Botanical Garden mix in clay for the few that I grow. ABG mix. It holds water well. And I haven’t been able to overwater, and forgetting to water for a few days hasn’t seemed to matter. Of course ymmv.

I talked to Mike when I found out The factual part is. He sold off his plants but not the business. And just closed down for personal reasons. Love Mike. He’s been a great mentor and was a great grower with a great eye for buying great plants. We’ll very much miss him.

still using wiz the ability to add photos, catalog events for the plant, and import and export via excel make it quite flexible for me Can't believe we don't have a kick starter project setup to rebuild a modern version of wiz. lots of awesome off the shelf toolkits to build good, performant...

Madhu form deepcut brought that plant... the flower was impressive. color was awesome and needed to be experienced in person to really appreciate it...
