Thanx all. Looks like it’s a pay to play for sensorpush…. I’d be in break even mode for all of the AcuRite sensors I’ve burnt through….
But that’s the past…. <sigh>

if you are using them in your greenhouse, are you doing anything to keep them from getting wet when you water? the sensors don't appear to have any obvious openings, but just the seams on the battery cover. but they are clear about not 'immersing them in water'.
@Ray From when you were...
my crappy acurite temp sensors all crapped out finally.. went back to this thread to read the options people had been pointing at... and had totally forgot how funny a read this was (for a geek at heart).. for non-geeks read elsewhere.. :)
but if this has caught your attention and...
Yup. Those are hard decisions that aren’t unique to indoor growers. I used to lust after the ‘growing real estate’ that orchid zone had thinking about my small 14x14 greenhouse.
<devils advocate> why not? its just a commitment ... certainly can't do a lot of flasks... but for complex... even an indoor grower could have a flat from a flask in the growing space... but likely not a flask of @tnry5 's kolorand x roth :)
But this one feels like an easy fix. Just move the ‘fma’ in his text. To end up with. C. purpurata fma shusteriana 'Elderwood'

How many plants do you need to treat?
All good :)
I went hunting for examples of ‘good ones’ after this opened.. and did find some with overlapping segments, and the overall ‘fill the circle’ concept.
Would be nice to have hit the genetic lottery and nailed one of those from my collection of seedlings. I suppose my...
this is from Lourens Grobler at redlands this past may. amazing that it came from south africa, no roots, and actually bloomed 5 months later.. its elro on spiculata flowers lasted about a week so maybe worth keeping... spurs are almost 7" long
I've been giving most of these seedlings away as they've opened... mostly no coerulea in the actual flower and only a pale indication in the lip.. but this one i think is a keeper... from francisco it was hiding behind a bunch of stuff as i caught it walking back into the house...
The only situation I’ve dealt with like that was when I let a compot of 20ish plants go wwwaaaaayyyyy past disentanglement. It flowered as the mass it was. Then just started to put out growths and go down hill. By the time I tore it apart. I was happy to get little pieces with active...
