    supardii

That is one of the best I have seen. Not as bizarre looking as most supardii (although it's the weirdness that gives this species its charm).

    Orchids 2024

For such an odd species I really love supardii. They are just perfectly imperfect lol. I grow them in medium light, lower light than roths, in orchiata under LEDs. They are pretty slow growing, they just kind of sit there and bloom every 5 years or so.

    Orchids 2024

Taiwanese flask circa 2006. Have bloomed a few over the years. This is the second or third blooming on this plant.

Paph. concolor, 3 spikes, at least 2 bi-floral

Love it! The division you gave me did great for many years, with lovely cream yellow flowers. But after some ups and downs, it is down to one growth that may not make it. If you ever divide yours again please keep me in mind :)

    Paph adductum

The plant looks better than most see in the US! Killer flowers too.

An AM for my Paph. liemianum!

Very nice! Gorgreous plant as well. Great growing!

    Paph. Dollgoldi

That is a SHOWSTOPPER! love it.

    First multifloral paph!

Looking good! Sounds like you have the right plan. Coarse media was probably great for Florida conditions, but where you are a more moisture retaining small bark mix would probably work better.

    Paphiopedilum hookerae

It is gorgeous. Not necessarily the easiest species so great job getting it to bloom.

    Anitum Ninja

Looking good! They like some sphagnum in the mix and kept on the wet side.

    Orchids 2024

Just checked out the OL site, not familiar with the compact form of lowii. I find with lowii they can bloom on relatively small plants, but over the course of years and depending on the clone, they eventually get pretty big. So if there is a new strain that stays smaller that would be a good...

So the stonei actually turned out to be pretty nice. The flower stance in particular is quite lovely in person.

    paph. supardii

It looks correct to me. All mine are relatively compact growing. It is such a neat species.

    paph. parishii

    Potentially awardable.
