I used Neem last summer with the high heat and had no phytotoxicity on Paphs. But, I have not used it a lot There are some on here that use and recommend it.

Hangziety!! Funny! I don't think your far off... I don't know that its common for the specie, I have one that set a bud in the fall, and then stalled until the following spring when it bloomed.
