Thank you for your kind words :-) I dont really use any bloom boosters. I use "Rain Mix"- 11,8N + 2,7P +13,7K +11 cal +3,5 mg + Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B, Mo and Co. Every once i a while I switch to a bit of calcium nitrate, as it is a calcium loving plant. I understand your impatience, but please...

I use rain (TDS 6-10) or RO water always. TDS incl. what ever fertilizer never higher than 30-40. It's in an ebb and flow system, watered twice a day.

Pure water and lots of it. Very small amounts of fertilizer-often. That's it;)

Thank you! It is relatively young, at least my youngest one:cool: My elder kovachii is taking it very easy this year. Flowers are on the way, but not nearly as advanced as, "my youngest plant". The picture is from last year.

The first flowering from this young kovachii. Gorgeous and very intense colors. A second flower is slowlyyyyyy approaching. Happy New Year 2022:)

Mine do well in a mix of Rockwool cubes, oyster shell, calcium rock, small bark and charcoal. Live moss on top. I never adjust PH.

I keep them in my basement, nice and cool even in the summertime, max. 22 celcius. Just at basic ebb/flow setup, which is on a timer and waters for an hour in the morning and again in the evening. The reservoir is RO water or rainwater, cal/mag and a tiny amount af Rainmix or occasionally a bit...

I keep mine cool and bright under LED. They are in ebb and flow and watered with pure water containing calcium/mag. Very little fertilizer never exeeding 50 tds. I use growcubes and limestone.This one I have had since 2017, and quite a big plant now.

The leaf span was18 cm, it's the second bloom. It's a "high maintenance" plant, I think. Bought it a few years back from a deutsch guy I know. Thanks

Just to show you my kovachii i bloom. Last year I only had one flower but now it gives me 3. The third one is slowly developing and not visible at the fotos. Very pleased with it, hope you'll enjoy the beauty of it too. Kind regards- Birgit
