Thank you very much for your kind words. :) I can do commissions. I do not own a Phrag. Schroederae but can always work from a photo. I am UK based though..although shipping to America is not impossible. More of my work can be seen here: Login • Instagram

Watercolour painting - Paphiopedilum multifloral hybrid.

My latest artwork, a watercolour painted from life of my no id. Paphiopedilum hybrid, which I personally think most resembles Saint Swithin x adductum.

Paphiopedilum hybrid - could be St Swithin x adductum?

No, the label just says 'Paph glanduliferum'

    Paph Yang-Ji Hawk

It is beautiful. I hope mine turns out like this. What light levels do you grow it under? At the moment mine is at Cattleya light levels with my other multis..

So beautiful! I have one of similar leaf-span but I am not sure if it will flower this year or not as it is just a single growth so far.

Paphiopedilum hybrid - could be St Swithin x adductum?

I have recently acquired a Paphiopedilum in bud/flower labelled as 'glanduliferum' (depicted). However it is not that...The general consensus is that it is an x adductum hybrid, but which one? I personally think it is St Swithin x adductum (Booth St -Adductum) as it looks very similar to this...

Wanted: Paph Sander's Pride and Paph Mount Toro

Yes. I have tried Popow, he does not have them. I emailed Franz Glanz about one week ago but did not hear back. Hilmar Bauch does have a Mt. Toro but it is his only mother plant. I have not contacted Hans before though - I will try him, thank you for his email address. :-)

Wanted: Paph Sander's Pride and Paph Mount Toro

I am still looking for these. I have managed to acquire a Mt. Toro, however the plant is not in the greatest condition. I am especially keen on acquiring Sander's Pride.

Wanted: Paph Sander's Pride and Paph Mount Toro

Hello. I am currently looking for the following primary hybrids: Paph. Sander's Pride (stonei x sanderianum). Paph. Mt. Toro (stonei x philippinense) (normal coloured form). I was wondering if anyone has these hybrids, can source them or knows anyone willing to sell a seedling or division? I...

Slow growing rust discolouration around base of Paph. kolopakingii

Yes bacterial rot moved in, but a fungal disease started first. I have done all that and cinnamon actually made it worse. One of these plants is now dead.
  19. Kate Boyce-Miles

    Paph. stonei “Prince” x “Queen”

That is very kind of you to say so. However it has caught a fungal disease I am finding very difficult to treat.

Slow growing rust discolouration around base of Paph. kolopakingii

Thank you for the reply. Cinnamon does work perhaps on some of my orchids, just this particular fungus seems really virulent and cinnamon does nothing to control it. I do live in the UK, yes, and it is very frustrating to me that these chemicals exist that could potentially treat this disease...
