I used a fairly normal Nikon 80mm Macro lens, but as the camera (Nikon D800) has pretty high res, I was able to crop the resulting photos closely.

It is hard for me to imagine what cross it could be. The size is quite small, just 55mm length for those petals. The colour is intense, akin to Ainsworthii. The shape of the pouch itself is unusual. The petals are about 55mm long, and the dorsal sepal is about 42mm long.

I wonder if that top leaf has flopped over due to the watering happening every day? I water mine every 4th day, which might be too infrequent, but the top leaf doesn't flop. Maybe every 2 or 3 days when in bloom would be ideal?

Can you share what the cultural info was? This is a rarely seen species.
