    Paph richardianum The Best

Thanks for the tips. How about light intensity? High, medium or low? I have seen the wild habitat of this species that they grow in rock mountain covered by humus and vegetation. It seems to be dry in their habitat with considerable temperature difference between day and night.

    Paphiopedilum rothschildianum 'Sam's Best' FCC/AOS x Perfection FCC/AOS

I agree 7 flowers are exceptional. But I know the breeding standard of roths from Taiwan flies to the universe these 2 years and the most fantastic clones are yet to be shown before the public. I have heard that the top class Roths has a DS of more than 8 cm and NS of 37. It is all taking...

    Paphiopedilum rothschildianum 'Sam's Best' FCC/AOS x Perfection FCC/AOS

Only looking at NS is a keeper, but I will more concentrate on an all rounded flower. It is still valid that Taiwan's roths breeding is still running far ahead over the world.

    P. primulinum? var purpurascens?

Firstly, I guess it was a dodyanum if I look at the flower, but it is a moquettianum dominant sequential bloom hybrid if I look at the leaves.

Paph. praestans - first multi floral blooming in my new place

I bought it from my Indonesian friend 3-4 years ago in flower, as I like the relatively horizontal petal stance for it. It is very difficult for growing and grows slowly and finally blooms before me. It is the first multi floral paphs blooming in my green house so I treat it as a small test of...

My new green house in use finally

You are smart! Actually this green house is currently shared by a totally 3 people including me. We will help each other to take care of the plants. However, we don’t need to spend much time on them since I have already provided a right environment for them.

    ID please

Actually it is not the first time to bloom before me. But I could not find any information on it before so that I would like to ask some professions here to see if I can get an answer. It has 3 old growths, 1 flowering growth and 1 new growth.

    ID please

Thanks for the above views. I firstly thought it is a lynniae also but it is still a bit strange in terms of the coloration and petal shape.

    ID please

I bought it from my Indonesia friend few years ago as richardianum but I am obviously “cheated” by my friend. It doesn’t like a lowii or its variation lyanne. Anyone can tell me the ID of this multi floral species? Thank you in advance.

    Paph. intaniae

This species seems like water very much. I use big pot with larger portion of fur bark mixed with volcanic rock for better water preserving inside port. Good ventilation is a must and place it under medium light level.

    A Couple Nice roths

It is a nice one. If you wish to get some supreme quality roths, you should be able to find some in Taiwan. A roths with DS7.5 cm and NS over 35 cm with a petal width of over 2 cm is not rare nowadays.
