It is a preserved clone from one of the breeders of 2010. Bought it 5 years ago and the DS is 6 cm and NS is 31 cm. It is a very nice clone for self entertaining!

It is the second time blooming for this clone. But I changed the growing media using for 5 years and removed all dead roots this Spring, hence, the quality of this bloom cannot reflect the real performance of it.

There are glaucophyllum, chamberlanianum (both from the nature and seedling), moquetteanum from the nature (the flower looks different from seedling plants we see in the market), victoria mariae and dodyanum. Enjoy!

This is not the right time for its blooming. The weather is too hot causing fewer flower count, smaller flower and lighter in color.

I don’t know. It is a famous Taiwan clone and is named by Taiwan people. The are 3 outstanding clones from this series, 莊苑 of course is one of the three, the other one is Spring Swallow （春歸燕）and the last one is called 御品（i cannot translate into English)

A nice one but I bet it is a Wossner Black Wings by recognizing from its dark colored dorsal and reddish petal color.

It is the first time for me to bloom it with 6 flowers. I do not know how to translate the clone’s name into English but it comes from the same series of the clone ‘Spring Swallow’. Both are still high grade SS in the market. Enjoy!

I bought this 3 years ago and this division was already divided and grown for sometimes. I will shoot some photos for your reference later. I am not depreciate my growing skills but I am sad that this clone does perform its flowering potential, so that improvements should be made.

As far as I know, the biggest DS for Taiwan clone is 8 cm, without flatten it. NS is 35 and petal width is 2.3 cm. Very dark color. That is the size for the plant’s first bloom. Not a mature plant.
