Up close it appears that the white stuff is under the “skin” of the leaf. There’s another spot like it on the other leaf that got creased in-transit too.

I’ve started collecting plants that I think can contribute to the imagined flower in my head. I started with a handful of BS plants from Sam Tsui. I’m really excited to see these bloom for the first time. When selecting which plant will be which parent, how do you decide?

I pollinated it on 3/29. It would be a great chance to learn if the seeds do end up germinating.

So I had a light fall on my Paph and snap the flower spike. I had a potential pod growing on there and out of curiosity cut it open to find this. Are these seeds? I dropped them into the parent plant’s media in the hopes that fungi are living in it.

I’ve googled as much as I could about procedures and methods, but is there any advice you would give to someone just starting out breeding that isn’t written down?
