    Paphiopedilum hennisianum and wolterianum

Thanks for the right attribute albescent. We had a discussion about that, but I couldn't remember. Is it reasonable to stay with the name wolterianum or should it better be switched to appletonianum?

    Paphiopedilum Saint Swithin

Thanks! Yes it is one plant with 4 inflorescences. I got it as a 2 shot medium sized plant in 2013 (not absolutely sure about the date). Roots and leaves are growing like weed since.

    yellow leaves on paph. gigantifolium

As suggested elswhere I covered a leaf partially with paper for over a week, but there war no change in colour where the paper has been. Rules that out too much light, or is stress by overlightening still possible? The new growing leaf is darker, but still on the light side; I can see still four...

    Help with leucochilum.

I would repot it and cut the infected shot as deep as possible and spray all parts with a fungizide. That may not be state of the arts but in such cases I tend to be overcautious... Fingers crossed!

    Esquilorei Esquire

Great! I love these evenly fine "sprayed" dark markings. Will the petals become more upright when the ondulation of the upper margin gets stronger?

    Thrips

Maybe I had a different species/type of thrips because they only went for the thinleaved Amorphophallus and not for titanum or glossophyllus or my Paphs. which have lethery leaves. Never thought of but it seems naturally that there are different species of thrips. I just hope that treatment...

    Thrips

Fortunately Thrips seem to be highly specialised. I had a severe infestation on most of my Amorphophallus, but some others stayed untouched. I was lucky they didn't like my Paphs either, some of which had direct leaf contact with infestated plants but stayed unharmed.
