    JC Thank you for this idea, I had a lot or re-potting to do as well as some new seedlings and I decided to give the idea of using boiling water a try. It was a little extra work but in the long run I could tell that the potting mixture was staying moist longer. So I am now a convert to this...

    Troy for me in south Florida having vendors like Paul at Phelps and Thanh at Springwater to talk with is great. The weather is so hot and humid that its nice to know what I can grow outside and not worry about, especially slippers.

    JC I agree, I run clean R/O through every weekend. I also soak the orchiata for a couple of hours before potting. Is using boiling water better? That is why I use these pots because it keeps the seedlings moist better than anything else I have tried. Now I cannot get any more so I am looking...
