A couple more nice pics to share with everybody today - taken this morning.

For the spidermites ------- there's a product called azamax ------ could give that a try (if available) - although it does have a bit of a smell. Or maybe neem oil spray with a bit of pyrethrum liquid mixed in for good measure - for spidermites that is.

In the tropics here, I grow mine in scoria - 5 to 8 mm diameter scoria pieces. I dump most of the water into the outskirts (toward the outer rim) of my opaque and good drainage pot, and this orchid gets fairly bright light, and no direct sunlight. I just provide relatively weak fertiliser and...

I had one rust patch begin to grow in a vietnamense fairly recently ----- but this time, with the advantage of having previous knowledge about what could work ----- sprayed that part with copper solution. And it really has stopped it dead its tracks - whatever it is.

Absolutely beautiful flowers, and very nice relaxing scenery too.

DLE! I took a big whiff yesterday in the late afternoon ----- and I couldn't detect any scent at all! Will try again in the morning --- to see if it has anything! It does look like it might smell like a lemon though hehehe

This is quite a compact orchid (seen before among the thread posts) - with nice yellow coloured flowers.

Very elegant! Nice captures too.

Currently flowering at the moment. The Rth. Free Spirit has yellow coloured flowers, and the C. Jewel Red 'Shinzu' has a darkish browny-red colour in the shade ----- but the red will pop out when the sunlight shines brightly on the tepals.
