    Paphiopedilum helenae 'Medusa' AM/AOS, CCM/AOS

That is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on the awards. How old is the plant and how have you been growing it? I'm able to keep these little guys alive but they're quite reluctant to bloom for me.

    Koopman Orchids now online

You'll be very happy with what he sends. Regan's a good guy and wants his customers to be happy so let him know if there are any issues with the plants and he'll absolutely make things right. He prices his seedlings as to the size of the pot. The 2.5" pots are $45 Cdn and the 3.5" pots are $55...

    Koopman Orchids now online

Koopman Orchids is not far from where I live and I had the pleasure of visiting the greenhouse last Saturday. Regan was very generous with his time and was happy to let my friend and me poke around for several hours. He's still sorting through all the Marriott plants because he works out of the...

Wow! What a lovely sight to wake up to on a gray, rainy day. Congratulations on your well deserved award.

Should I just let it go? (Virus?!)

I agree with the previous comments that there's no real visible sign of virus. The only way to be sure is to invest in a virus testing kit but your plant doesn't look that unwell. The potting mix looks very, very dry to me. I would repot it into some smaller bark that retains more moisture until...

Paph Shun-fa Golden and micranthum var eburneum bud watch

Oh my goodness that's not beginner's luck at all! Your parvis really like your growing conditions. Congrats on all those buds. I look forward to seeing pictures of the blooms.

    Paph. leuchochilum x sib

My leucochilum is ready for Dr. Leslie's newly appointed T.E.L.L group to have a say. It doesn't have a completely clear pouch but the leaves are solid dark green and very dark red/purple on the underside. I'm also enclosing a picture of it with its cousin myanmaricum for comparison.

    Paphiopedilum leucochilum ‘Double Trouble’

Thank goodness you rescued it from those overbearing phals and dends. I'm sure you had no other choice. Beautiful flower(s)!

    Paph. myanmaricum first bloom

It was part of a group order that we pre-ordered before our orchid club's show and sale this spring so the vendor covered the shipping costs.
