    I haven't had to scorch an orchid yet!:) Thanks all for the compliments. This plant just keeps putting up side growths, I think it has 4 now, and they start blooming when small. The fragrance is delicious.

    Drying off after a watering are my Sederia japonica with 5 spikes, and Lc Aloha Case 'Ching Hua' AM/AOS. Both smell great!

    I have read that this is caused by low humidity/under watering. When it happened with plants of mine increased watering seemed to help keep future growths in the pot. When your plants done flowering, I would cut it below the emerging roots and pot it up on it's own. High humidity helps a lot...

    Yes, this is from Arnie Klehm. If you are in the Chicagoland area he will be at the Chicago Botanic Garden Show every weekend through March 17th. His specialty is growing and breeding great complex paphs.

    I volunteered last Sunday for our society at the Chicago Botanic Garden's Orchid Show. I bought two gorgeous plants from Arnie Klehm. The first is Northern Mood '1-10' x Hellas 'Sunset'.
