    Paph tigrinum

Got a flask of 6 plantlets from Hengduan at the 2014 Paph Forum. 3 still survive. 1 other is just as healthy a plant, but has never bloomed. The last isn't as vigorous and has only bloomed once. But it had a great flower so I maintain hope for its future.

    Paph tigrinum

I have one growing environment - an orchid cabinet inside my house. So it gets Maryland home temperatures. About 60-68 in the winter and 70-78 in the summer. In between in the spring and fall.

This one blooms like clockwork. My other two prefer to sit there laughing at me.

    Cast it into the fire!

Wow. I'm glad it didn't permanently harm the plants. This one is getting what all my plants get - weak fertilizer and occasional cal-mag. I think my house may just be haunted. Sure. Once the flower drops, I'll put it in a nice little box and send it along.

    Cast it into the fire!

I moved my longifolium var gracile mid-bloom. That is my only guess.

    Wanted Charcoal

Kelly's Korner has it at a reasonable price: https://www.kkorchid.com/media-for-potting-orchids/Charcoal.html

    Wanted 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots

Thanks, Ray! I bought out the remaining few hundred that Fair Orchids had.

    Partial ID Tag

I would guess it's: Paph Quiberon Bay (Winston Churchill 'Redoubtable' FCC/AOS x Milmoore 'Maltese' AM/AOS) The HP61 may be the clonal name for the plant, but it's hard to know without seeing the tag.

    Wanted 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots

I haven't ordered any yet, but they're available on the Quarter Acre Orchids site: https://yhst-8587090731729.stores.yahoo.net/3clplsqpot.html

    Wanted 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots

Did Harry own Kelly's Korner? Unfortunately, I don't think I need their 6-pallet minimum for custom colors. I guess I'll have to switch to solid color pots. At least I can still get the 3.5" square pots in clear.

    Wanted 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots

Ok, well I got a fast reply - they no longer make no color pots. I'd be fine with the 2" Rand air cone pots if they weren't only 2" deep.

    Wanted 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots

The few I have left are from McKonkey. I'll email them and ask if they've got any. I could take a couple cases, but I fear they may require an order of a pallet if they need to be custom made.

    Wanted 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots

Has anyone seen lipped 2.25" x 3.25" clear square pots for sale lately? They used to be common, but can't find a vendor currently selling them. These:

    Where to buy supplies?

(Minor thread hijack) What is going on with Kelly's? They filled my recent order, but they're out of a lot of stuff and won't return my emails. Before the most recent business sale, they were really good.

Dividing a plant 3 years overdue

Heresy! There were several breaks involved and a TV on at all times...

Need some help finding fine CHC

I got a large (for me) order of pots from Kelly's a couple weeks ago. But this is twice now that they haven't responded to my emails.

Need some help finding fine CHC

Thanks! Just ordered 4 3-cft bales from them. That should hold me over for the next 5 years or so...

Need some help finding fine CHC

Hi all, Does anyone have a line on where I can buy fine CHC in bulk? My usual source, Kelly's Korner, is sold out on their site and not returning my emails. I checked other sites and found medium CHC, but no fine. I need 2 cubic feet or a compressed bale. Thanks! --Stephen
