    Tipularia discolor 2023

Wow, you have to be one of a handful who have gone to the trouble to flask this species. Of course I'm applauding. Very nicely done.

    Bulbophyllum thiurum

Fantastic! Looks like the octopus beard of that bad guy in one of Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

    Cattleya Latona (L. cinnabrina x C purpurata) Syn L.

Love the color combination. Looks really big.

    Last three purpuratas.

Fantastic! That first one is stupendous.

Paph. armeniacum - finally a successful flowering

It's kept inside when in flower, bringing it out only for photography. So far the first bloom is hanging in there, so that's over a month by now.

Paph. armeniacum - finally a successful flowering

Three times in ten years. I bought it in flower as a single growth, then it flowered last year (sunburned), and finally this year. Here is an individual flower: Unfortunately, one flower fell off this morning, so the first 2 flowers have been flowering for 26 days. I took this short video...

    Paph. emersonii 2012

Just growing and flowering these so well is impressive enough. The second one from the bottom is fantastic IMO.

    Yet Another armeniacum in Bud

Good luck! Keep it humid as possible. Mine got cooked in the dry wind/sun last spring.

    Blooming Neofinetia & Friends

That's it, we've found a new name for a band, Basal Keiki. Nice flower count on the Sedirea. Looks like you have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. I hope my neos flower half as well as yours.

    Phrag Umbriel

Yes, but will it work on a human face?
  14. KyushuCalanthe

    Shin-Yi Williams x sanderianum

    That is an exceptional one.

    Paph Pinocchio "album"

Man, I LOVE that little thing! The emerald green juxtaposed against the ivory white is just sensational.

    My Paphiopedilums in 2023

    Beautiful plant!

Paph. armeniacum - finally a successful flowering

Been growing this plant for over 10 years now. Finally it is flowering well. The last flower just opened - about two weeks later than the other two, and a little on the small side. I wonder how long it will stay in good flower. Maybe just a week or two. All in all, I'm quite pleased.

Paph. stonei “The Queen” x self

    That is a beauty!

    Malipoense

Yes, a month is actually not bad. I've managed to keep Ho Chi Minh in bloom for 2 weeks, but only under controlled conditions. Any moisture on the flower will finish it much faster. One reason Cypripediums will probably never be truly popular is the short flowering period - at most a couple...
