    Moss Coming Back to Life

Moss seems to really help the overall vigor of the slippers and phrag's. Not sure the reasoning but I do notice in my two small kovachii seedlings the healthiest roots are just like yours in these photos and they reside right in the moss layer. It could be what Eric said but seems like...

    Planet earth 2

I am pretty sure it is David Attenborough and he's awesome.

    Dendrobium Cherry Dance

That's very attractive and great that it's a reliable bloomer. Why the re-potting dread...lots of roots to contend with?

    Ascda. Macarena Iglesias

It has 13 flowers and checking my records it has bloomed with between 10-13 flowers per spike in the past. My best was two spikes with 21 flowers total. I believe it could bloom more than once a year under the right conditions but has not ever done so for me.

    Den. Jonathan's Glory 'Dark Joy'

Recent addition from Gold Country Orchids. Alan K. suggests this cross will bloom all season and does not need the cool winter rest more typical of these AU Den. hybrids. We shall see but so far, so good!

    Paph. primulinum

I like this yellow form a bunch.

This was supposed to be a separate post but I accidentally included it as a reply to my Stanhopea post. Anyway, reliable bloomer and does well in my windowsill and outside in summer.

Stanhopea wardii 'Ten Flowers' x self

Ascda. Macarena Iglesias Very reliable bloomer even for me growing outdoors in summer and windowsill in winter.

Stanhopea wardii 'Ten Flowers' x self

These never get old for me. Powerful wintergreen-like fragrance and alien flowers.

Angraecum didieri "Third Time's A Charm"

This one certainly looks healthy. I find these tough as well. I think the lower relative humidity for us non-greenhouse folks in one reason. Spritzing or watering everyday is a lot of work.

    concolor

    Very nice.

    Fredclarkeara Gemstones
