Thanks for the suggestions and support, Orchidlife. Your orchid room is marvelous. I think that is where I saw my first Josieto 2 x delenati.

    My best paphiopedilums

You have a lot to enjoy right now! Do you have a favorite? I love the deperla pink. I think the pouch shape is so elegant.

    Paphiopedilum purpuratum is my faaaaaaavorite!

My flowers in bloom right now, not all slippers

ah, yes, it was the Michael Koopowitz. Everytime I see a photo of one I think how pretty. The petals just blow my mind. I was so smitten with a Clowesia (capitalized?) Rebecca Northern in another post that I just bought one. I was wondering if you watered them when blooming even if they are...

My flowers in bloom right now, not all slippers

It is a nice villosum. What is the variety? And what is the multifloral? I have seen so few plants actually in bloom it is nice to try to recognize them from photos. Thanks for providing some practice. :)

    Semi-Hydroponic (S/H) Setups

😂 I wish my "collection" warranted a pump sprayer. Unfortunately, I am nursing only a handful of compots. Maybe someday, when I have figured out how to grow seedlings well, I will need something bigger. Sounds like you have a large collection?

I love it when the petals are just starting to peak out. And two blooms in a year, nice! Looking forward to seeing them open.

    Semi-Hydroponic (S/H) Setups

Thank you both. Sounds like I shouldn't have been fertilizing them. I was using 100 ppm. Air humidity is between 40-60 %. I know I should have increased that when they were initially out of flask. Thank you, gonewild, for that info from another post. But I thought it was too late to worry...

    Semi-Hydroponic (S/H) Setups

Hello, I am growing all my paphs in s/h. I recently received my first three flasks, delenati, primulinum, and thaianum. The thaianum arrived with unhealthy roots that fell off as I washed the agar off. The other two flasks were very healthy. Hoping to avoid later root adjustments when they come...
