Ernie, I just bought Epson Salt today, that will be the first thing I will change. The delenatii will be repotted after bloom.
Not all plants in my terrarium has pale or stunted leafs:
Humidity: 60-80% rh
Temperature: room temperature (18-30 °C)
Light intensity: my lux meter shows about 7000 lux (~ 700 fc ?). I use fluorescent light (light color 840 + 865) and I´m sure that this cheap lux meter didn´t show the right intensity in this case.

Moss is growing in every pot here in my terrarium, no matter what potting medium I use. And it grows very fast.
And now my question: Can it be that the compact growth comes from the fact that the plant receives (too) much light?

The plant like getting plenty of light, water and fertilizer.
@Eric, yes sometimes it has a decent smell, very light, only in the morning.
I bought this plant on the main market in Funchal, Madeira two years ago.
It´s grows very well and this year I can show you the flower (last year I broke the spike :mad:).
I hope this is really a P. Shireen, perhaps someone can confirm?
var. nigritum is a common name for the darker color version of barbatum - that can be sold better. ;-)
It is not an accepted name by KEW or IPNI. Maybe P. barbatum nigritum or 'nigritum' would be better. Or only P. barbatum.

Nothing special, I use a Panasonic GF1 (Micro-FourThirds-Kamera) with a LEICA DG Macro-Elmarit 45 mm. These pictures where made with indirect sunlight.
But that´s only one part for getting pictures with such a big depth of field, especially because I work with a aperture of 5.4 to 8.
