Sun Wings! It's very nice. I think the horizontal petals are just the right width for a skinnier petal.

I don't think Oklahoma really does a lot of houses with basements, and certainly mine doesn't have one. But thank you for the information!

I wish I could be sure the one I would get would be an easier bloomer, but it's a bit risky sounds like! And I only have so much space, I'd hate to use some of it for a plant I might never bloom.

Oh, well that is definitely good to know! Perhaps I'll reconsider then. I love how the flower looks, and the possibility of fragrance, but if I never get it to flower then both of those qualities are pointless.

Thank you so much! That makes me feel a lot better. I didn't think it was overly concerning considering the apparent health of the rest of the plant and the fact this came from what I believe is a good vendor, but as these are my first I thought I'd check to make sure.

I just got two paphs in the mail today. Please know I'm brand new to this species. There are little black spots on this leaf and only this leaf. Is this something I need to be concerned about, or is it something that can happen normally?

I've thought about that, but heard varying opinions on it. I've also tried some hoya in leca before, and it didn't go well. The top 3/4 of the leca stayed dry, so those roots were dying at the top. It was probably some error on my part, but I don't want to lose any orchids by experimenting with...
