    Paph philippinensis

I got this locally in one of the nurseries in the Phils.

    Paph philippinensis

I trained my gardeners. Since I retired, I have spent more time there than here in the US. And I still have plants here...lol.

For sure. Water qualiry is number one. But nutrition is still a lot to be learned.

    Paph randsii

And probably the least documented multiflower species out there. Here is a picture of this plant showing how big it is and the number of flowers it can produce.

    Paph randsii

That's a big challenge. I'm hoping to find more plants so I can test them with different approaches in culture and nutrition. Because I want to propagate this species. Very likely there is nothing left of this in the wild.

I'm actually making your life simpler so you know what you are about to open and not waste your time if it does not interest you. But thanks for the comments. 😆 It would have been nicer if it were directed to Mr. hernyanum. Common, enjoy the flower. We all love our plants.

Thank you. I just feel like posting these days. Normally I dont. Sorry if that annoys you. I did not know there is such a protocol here. But I believe I'm free to post here same as you are free to criticize. Peace.

This species, including anitum and randsii grow really big in the wild. Most of the plants I have seen have two leads ahead of the flowering plant. They grow so fast considering that they flower every year. We are missing a lot here as to the nutrition of these species. I have seen locals...

It was showing off some flowers when I got back here. Got this from Sam, many years ago. This one is a keeper.

Got some of this species from a local collector. Got to say, I paid very dearly. I have to cut the flower after taking the picture. The plant was not in good shape. Hopefully, I can grow this.

My collection of Phil. species. Not particularly impressive but a good grower.

I have this plant in the Phils. It is a big plant but not strong enough to have big spikes. Hopefully next season I can get it to flower again.
