Second year growing this plant, first home-made blossom (last year the flower was a weird shape probably due to being shipped in bud). Quite happy with the shape and color! From above the pouch: Roots!

No I didn't. Second bud will open in a few days, I can measure that one.

I don't see it, can you explain? The sepals are twisted, but they are regular shape if you "unscrew" them.

You made me look at previous bloom pictures and yes it does! And more often than not both do face down.

Nothing special, under fluo lights all year, intermediate conditions, small Orchiata bark not repotted for almost 5 years, small pot (4" diameter I think) but taller than regular pots (it's a tea mug in fact). I bought it as a seedling out of flask in 2009...
