I don't think this is f. carnea. Carnea should be true pink not so magenta or fuschia like the picture you have. It might be roxo-violeta or semi-alba or something else. Laelia purpurata has hundreds of varieties. Check out my other post of the color of carnea.

Here are mine Laelia purpurata f. schusteriana, werkhaeuserii and carnea. I have alba too but it's not blooming this year.;)
