    giant P. sanderianum on ebay

I am so sorry paphipland. I know that you spent so much money on this plant! I would be so mad! When I saw the plant. It doesn't look at all like sanderianum. Then when you offered him the price and he accepted. I knew right away that it was way too low for a sanderianum with that many growth...

    L. purpurata v. carnea 'Wayne'

I don't think this is f. carnea. Carnea should be true pink not so magenta or fuschia like the picture you have. It might be roxo-violeta or semi-alba or something else. Laelia purpurata has hundreds of varieties. Check out my other post of the color of carnea.

    Paph. Faire-Maud

Candace, Actually, I am not into vinis either. In fact is this the only hybrid vini I have. When I saw the plants in bud, I noticed the super dark color bud. Then I looked at the cross and I saw "fairrieanum" in it. I had to buy it. I love fairrienum shape. When It was in bloom for the first...

    Paph. Faire-Maud

Candace, I don't know if the division would happen any time soon. This plant seems to be the one that the old growth keep dying back when the new growth matured. I've talked to Harold Koopowitz about this. He said that some plant has this genetic flaw that the old growth will always die back. I...
