    The standard barbigerum is a few weeks in. It's very bright and perky. The aureum opened just a few days ago. It's a cutie. 😊

    Just opened in the last couple of days. Huge flower with a short stem. Wondering if it will get any lighter? It already is much lighter than the example bloom posted on Orchid Ltd.

    Hi yes Tiny Treasure just opened this morning. Its other parent is Paphiopedilum Mem. Sandra Pechter Song. The plant on the right is Paphiopedilum Barbie Doll x Little Stevie. It's tinier than the teacup! 🤩 Obtained from Paph Paradise if anyone is looking to pick one up.

    fat roots

    just got my select orchids order and wow these roots are chonky! some are nearly as fat as my pinky finger! i'm hoping people can share tips they have for getting fat roots like this. one tip passed onto me by tim of oceanside orchids was use of RO filtered water. i've fired up my old RO unit...

    thanksgiving day present!

    paph burki bloom no. 2 is flawless! (no crispy tips from temp issues) you can def see the emersonii in the first bloom's peachy pouch. 🍑🤩🌱 this plant bloomed within a few weeks of it's previous bloom. it's biological clock is impressive.
