what do you mean by poor results? the filters should catch a good chunk of the salts. we have a 4 stage rodi from bulk reef supply and it cranks out a slow trickle. i'm thinking low pressure just reduces volume.

is the pointy leaf in the crown a red herring?

i've never bloomed one before. this leaf has a pointy end. looked different so thought i'd ask.

i love the dramatic change in color in these white complex paphs. it's still super wonky but feels like a totally different flower after the lightening. fun! 😊

How to you keep you micranthum growth so uniform? My plants send out growth shoots similar to mexipedium and are all over the place. Yours are so well behaved.

I had similar markings from adding pro-biotics to my watering solution. I did rinse off right away but could totally see that stuff staining if allowed to dry. Even the roots browned (not the normal fuzzy khaki color) for a little while.

Just opened this morning. Very wonky all around. I had a feeling this bloom would end up wonky since the spike/bud was growing sideways and all twisty. Hope the bloom relaxes a little as it lightens.

wow that's really rough to hear 15 years only to find the plant isn't what you expected. makes me wonder how many "oops wrong plant" i have in my small collection. echoing what @TyroneGenade said, at the very least it's pretty.

this one's a vini. just opened this morning. very cute outcome although i wish the plant was smaller like helenae. will take pics in natural light when the sun decides to shine.
