I am not sure if I am jumping the gun or not but I only have one plant out of the 12 growing. How long does it actually take them to break dormancy and start growing? I have not let them dry out at all either. Please tell me I just am not being patient enough..PLEASE!

very nice....:clap: Friends of ours just found a dozen or so of these growing on their property. I will be going over and try to pollenate them when they start flowering.

I got mine the other day and have them all potted up. I put both of them in a 2:1 ration mix of 2 parts perlite:1 part small gravel as mentioned in the document sent. After I did all my research it seems to me almost any fast draining mix will work as long as you do not let them dry out and they...

I just recieved my plants this week from Windy Hill Orchids that I used the $50 from SlipperTalk "Lets Get Ready for Spring Contest". I mentioned in the contest I wanted to get a Mexipedium xerophyticum so since I won I thought it was time :D They sent me a plant with 2 mature growths and 1...

I am still waiting too :sob: I hope we all hear back from him because I am excited to try some of these :drool:
