    Yes, very very nice!

rothschildianum Sam's Choice x MM Best

Surprising dorsal form for this cross. Paul and mine have round dorsal and this one is really opposite with flame form! But there's always those dark irregular lines in dorsal. All the plants from this cross have this characteristic.

    Paphiopedilum villosum var boxallii

An old plant I bought last year to an other old collector. Wild form, small size, light color. An original one, I'm happy with it.

    Paphiopedilum Iantha Stage

A plant I bought some years ago as Kimballianum. It's a nice bloom but I'm disappointed because I would like a lot Kimballianum. I like this difficult to find natural hybrid. Try again Fabrice... :poke:

    Paphiopedilum malipoense "Jim's Best"

A plant I bought in spike some months ago to Ratcliffe.

    Paphiopedilum tonsum

A good one with no name. I'm not a fanatic of this kind of paphs but tonsum (and particularly this one) have a particular charm in my taste. Probably the mix of pink/green color.

    Paphiopedilum rothschildianum "Like a Queen"

2nd bloom for the 1st seedling blooming (in 2012) from "TN-Queen x TN-Tiger". I gave it this name because it's very similar to the TN-Queen. Almost 30cms, 5.5cms dorsal. Probably my favorite from this cross. As an idiot, I broke the 2 other buds...

    Paph. sanderianum "Ping Tong"

You can't judge this plant just comparing with another sanderianum. And more, there are highland and lowland sanderianum, what are very differents. And even crosses between the 2 forms. I think this one is true but you're maybe right, it could have too philippinense in it. Not possible to be...

    Paph. sanderianum "Ping Tong"

More and more, MK x sanderianum are sold like sanderianum. Why? The interest of this cross is to sell sanderianums with larger dorsal, even if the philippinense influence reduce a little the petals lenght. But for me, this bloom is a pure sanderianum. About lateral petals what start...

Roths seedling making a ridiculous amount of growths.

In my opinion, it's a bad thing. I already grew seedlings like that, with several news growths. They always stay small, difficult to grow and several months later, they die. A normal seedling will grow with 1 growth, exceptionally 2. But many new growths on a not mature multi floral growth is...

    Oeoniella Polystachya

Paphiopedilum rothschildianum Sam's Choice x MM Best

In fact, Sam's Choice is really Rex x MM. Sam confirmed it to me just now. :-)

Paphiopedilum rothschildianum Sam's Choice x MM Best

I found a 2007 listing when this cross was available in flask and Sam wrote "Val x MM". But I just asked him to be sure. I will tell you more soon.

Paphiopedilum rothschildianum Sam's Choice x MM Best

Yes you're right. I was sure to see Rex in it but it's not! Sorry for this mistake. I showed the picture yesterday to Sam. He replied me: "That is very good for a first bloom seedlings! If it is mine. I would keep growing. It will be SM or AM in the next bloom with 4 flowers. "
