A friend and I picked up the only two of these from a vendor a few years back, ID unknown other then 'aerangis species'.

I'm afraid I don't have very good pics -my friend's is in bloom and I snapped a couple quick shots in her GH with my phone before she had to depart for a few days. I'm worried the flower won't last til I can get over there with my camera, and she is camera-illiterate (and computer illiterate, or nearly so!).

The flower is about 1.25" (3.2cm) across and the leaves are medium-green, plicate and pliable, a bit stiffer that a phrag's let's say but thin and not at all succulent as most angraecoids I've seen, and the longest leaf on mine is about 9", and 1.75' (4.5cm) wide.

Anyone have a clue as to its identity?

Hmm...it is hard to tell, but it doesn't look like an aerangis. The leaves look more like an Aeranthes? Need a better picture of the flower...

This flower looks a lot like Angraecum calceolus, I had several seedlings years ago, that originally came from Great Lakes Orchids (they went out of business before 1990) and was very disappointed when they finally bloomed, small greenish yellow flowers with no noticable fragrance. The foliage on Angraecum calceolus is unlike most Angraecums, much like Tennis describes it. Big plant, small flowers, I ended up loosing interest in this species. Give me Ang magdalena or Ang didieri any day.

Jay Pfahl's website shows a different looking flower than the A. calceolus I had, mine were more like Tennis's, the image below is from Olaf Pronk, and is a little closer to Tenman's image. Color can vary from green to fairly yellow.

Flower shape and size as well as the plant morphology of Ang.huntleyoides ("the huntleya-like Angraecum" description of the plant's growth habit ) lead me to conclude that is the correct ID for this plant.

Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions.
