This is another nice schlimii from the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia. It is a first blooming seedling. The mother plant is the one used for the description of manzurii (holotype). Enjoy!

It's beautiful! I love all your different varieties of schlimii/manzurii. I wish I could get some of them here, they're my favourite of slipper orchid.
 
Thanks a lot! I am breeding them, trying to avoid mixing populations to keep some botanical value, so eventually you will have the chance!

Is this one the same as the population you showed in another thread from the habitat? They showed branching and I remember it looked pretty dry for a phrag. Also they self pollinated.

Not the same population
No one knows for sure where the population of this var is. The man who originally collected the plants used for the description is very sick and the only reference we have is a nearby small town.

The population I show you has very pale specimens as well but not as pale as this.
