another delanatii

Here's another delanatii...the tag says "sweet fragrance' but I don't know if it is a clonal name or simply descriptive...it was a cheap ebay win from a year ago. This is the 2nd bud...a squirrel ate half of the first bud. No fragrance yet, but that sometimes takes a few days to develop. Take care, Eric

Nice Eric. I find it odd that it's blooming in the fall. Mine always bloom in the spring.

I have had delanatii bloom at every time of year except mid-winter...but overall, I find that they tend to bloom most frequently in the spring and early fall.

Perhaps you need a dog?

Actually, squirrels haven't bothered my orchids, but I'm pretty sure a chipmunk did-in a couple of my small mounted plants, which I had hanging too close to the ground apparently. Have-a-heart traps work well...
