Another villosum

This is the secong flowering of a popow-plant I got in 2011! Jean

the plant with tendency to split up into 2 halves;

In comparison to my crazy plant I can see that the bract covering the ovary normally is shorter than the ovary (you can see a bit of it connecting to the flower).

In comparison to mine, the bract completely covers the ovary and actually extended about a 1/4" past the dorsal sepal!

One of my favourite species. Yours looks excellent!!

I have a boxallii and it grows like weed as well. IMO P. villosum tends to be a fast grower if you can provide some cold in winter.
