I use straight wire stakes about a third of the time. For the rest of the time I use those green, wooden garden stakes that are available at any garden center. I have them in 30” in length and 4 feet. The thirty inch ones are more slender but these give me three options in terms of diameter and I can trim for length.
Small bamboo stakes available at any good garden center. Easy to make your own metal stakes. Galvanized wire from the hardware store, a wire cutter, and a pliers (long nose preferred). Bend to any size or shape needed.
Florist wires and bamboo skewers are my choices also for Paphs or Phrags.... You can buy the skwers (100 ct) at Dolar Tree/Dolar General for no money. I use bamboo skewers to stake up the leaves/growths/newly potted plants...very handy!
